Fields: Keeping Fields in Playing Shape
Well-maintained playing fields are a valuable asset for youth baseball and softball. A properly groomed field is a pleasure for players, especially younger players learning the fundamental skills of the game. Ballfields also serve as a focal point for youth programs, encouraging cooperation and generating a sense of pride that enhances everyone’s experience.
The Minnesota Twins Community Fund provides financial support
to improve baseball and softball facilities for children in
the Upper Midwest. The Fields for Kids program makes matching
grants to small nonprofit organizations and local government
units that operate baseball and/or softball programs. Click
